Amazon reached and crossed the magic $1 trillion evaluation barrier. This happened just weeks after Apple became the first US company to cross the same market capitalization. While Apple was able to remain above the trillion-mark, Amazon soon dipped back around $970 billion. But they have a bright future in front of them.

Last week the record of the longest US bull market of the history was broken. The bull run arguably went on for more than 3,453 days. During this period S&P500 gained 321 percent in value, totaling up to $18.4 trillion.

Gold might have lost some of the momentum it had at the beginning of the year, but price isn’t everything in this case. Chinese and Russian central banks are buying it endlessly. JP Morgan is also spending huge amounts of money on it. What is the reason? Many believe that gold can have a higher importance in the future than it has now.

Elon Musk announced on Twitter this month that he’d like to take Tesla private. Many believed that he was bluffing to teach investors with short interests a lesson. That might have serious (even penal) consequences. This week he published a long post on Tesla’s blog to clear some things up about his plan. It makes sense, but it’s still risky.
